A need arose for CSP to untie itself from the logic of renewing its hardware infrastructure and increase the elasticity of sizing its SAP infrastructure.Founded in 1973 in Ceresana (MN) in the hosiery district, where a large portion of Europe’s hosiery production takes place, CSP International Fashion Group began as a manufacturer of women’s hosiery and has since expanded to produce and distribute legwear, underwear, bodywear, and beachwear for both men and women.
The company’s business growth has enabled it to acquire, over time, major brands that meet various market needs, making the business dynamic and well-positioned to distribute a diverse range of top-quality products.
Research, technological innovation, and design are the foundation of the entire production process, which emphasizes the value of “Made in Italy” and supports high production volumes reaching 30 million pairs of pantyhose annually. This scale requires greater attention to the automation of the production cycle and the technologies used to ensure continuous distribution to over 40 countries worldwide, with a focus on Italy and France.
CSP’s dynamism has enabled the company to flexibly address new market challenges and explore new solutions that allow the business to respond more quickly to new needs.
This gives rise to CSP’s need to break free from the constraints of hardware infrastructure upgrades and increase the scalability of its SAP infrastructure by moving toward cloud solutions that guarantee service elasticity, and thus the ability to scale across different solutions, as well as greater infrastructure freedom, freeing itself from the constraints of technology and software updates.
